Help us help those in need.
The Saunders County Food Pantry, Backpack Program and Emergency Assistance is operated by many dedicated volunteers. Emergency need in our communities rose dramatically last year and we expect the need to continue growing. There are so many ways you can offer support!
Can you donate Time? Food? Money? Free Services?
- Food Needs at the Food Pantry include: flour, sugar, Mac and Cheese, peanut butter, jelly, spaghetti sauces, noodles, boxed dinner (hamburger helper, etc), rice, cake mixes, cereal/pancake mixes, canned fruit, canned meat (especially tuna), canned pasta (spaghettios, etc), boxed potatoes, pasta noodles, toiletries, juice
We ask that all items have a current use by date. Please e-mail us to work out a drop off location and time.
- If you have time available, volunteers are always needed to help pack the food for the backpack program. It is a great way to help us feed the hungry children of our community.
- Help us spread the word! Like us on Facebook and Twitter.
- Organize a food drive.
- Money donations are always welcome. Checks may be given to most churches in Wahoo. You may also mail in a donation to SCMA, P.O. Box 22, Wahoo, NE 68066
Please note on check if you would like to donate to Food Pantry, Backpack Program or Emergency Assistance. If you do not indicate the program, your donation will go to the Program with the current greatest need. Request a reciept to keep for your taxes.
Thank You!
